Giancarlo began his life as a soldier in one of Mayflower's many direct-action cells, fighting against FortEvo's experiments. During an unsuccessful attempt to kill a top FortEvo scientist, he was hurt, losing both eyes to shrapnel. Blind and without support, he needed augmentation to get back to the kind of life he used to have. But his ties to the Mayflower were strong and unwavering in their doctrine, which forbade any type of augmentation. That was not something Giancarlo was willing to live with. He got in touch with the Morgan Crime Family through middlemen. He got the upgrades he wanted, but they had a price. Now he owes money to a criminal group, and Mayflower has rejected him as a traitor. He’s compromised on all sides, and everybody knows it.
